Our story
From making clothes for others to our own brand
The story of MANO began long before the first store opened.
Iskender Ismailov and Mamat Abdysatar are partners who spent years in clothing manufacturing. They went from managing production processes to running large-scale manufacturing, fulfilment and a team of more than 200 people.
Their production made clothing for Wildberries and other CIS markets, mainly Russia. Over the years they learned the industry from the inside: how clothes are made, how processes are built, what drives quality and how to turn an idea into a finished product.
But in time a question emerged that changed the direction of their work.
Why can we manufacture clothing for other markets, yet our own country still lacks a strong menswear brand of its own?
That is how the idea of MANO was born — a brand that becomes part of men's everyday lives and brings together a modern European approach to style, quality, comfort and a fair price.
